Technical Editor, Part-time NASA

ASRC Federal Analytical Services is currently seeking a part-time Technical Editor at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center to support stakeholders in the Science and Technical Information Program (STI)
  • Edit all manner of technical products including technical memorandums, technical papers, scientific journal articles, contractor reports, and communication publications
  • Utilize various style guides, (editing these documents requires knowledge of various types of style guides)
  • Take part in peer editing and be focused on mastering the STI style guide.
  • Take an incremental approach to managing long term tasks with multiple steps in the review process and give extreme attention to detail
  • Provide independent research to support the understanding of related concepts as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
