Director - Imaging

The Imaging Director, serves as a key clinical and strategic member of the hospital's leadership team responsible for defining, developing, and implementing the Imaging Department's initiatives consistent with the hospital's strategic goals. Provides oversight of all services lines within the department of 20 imaging professionals and facilitate the efficient daily operations of a 88 bed facility. He/She will oversee a highly diverse range of issues such as: facilitating clinical quality, patient and physician relations, service line development consistent with the hospital's strategic growth initiatives, fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, developing and maintaining staff competency and assuring sound coordination among other departments and peer directors. He/she operates independently while maintaining sound communication with direct supervisor to ensure objective and sound operations within his/her responsibilities and in support of the Mission, Vision and Core Values of Andalusia Health and LifePoint
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree is preferred or have at least 5 years of experience in this Field.
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required. Must hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technology in two or more modalities
Current CPR certification required
EXPERIENCE: Must have proven experience in working with and leading people, including direct reports, peers, supervisor, physicians. This position also requires a keen ability to manage through complex issues and address patient and family needs. . Demonstrated ability of developing imaging service lines including knowledge of clinical, operational, administrative, regulatory and financial requirements. Proven business acumen resulting in sustained service line growth. Marketing, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as critical thinking skills; computer and business related software skills.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: May administer contrast material orally and intravenously after completing the credentialing process with the Medical Director of Radiology.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
